Distance education reaching refugees’ camps. Migrant children could be mentored by volunteer teachers who could motivate them to stay in school. These teachers could be trained remotely by education professionals from anywhere in the world.
Volunteer translators acting as support persons for migrants and refugees. Accompaniment is a step forward for any new-comer. Being offered the friendly service of a translator is both a need and a source of emotional comfort for a migrant. By offering access to free on-demand translation services, refugees could be helped to develop their relationship with the country’s public services, institutions and nonprofit groups able to lend a helping hand.
